Our client is a leading global distributor of technology products are based on the North Shore. They are recognised as a market leader in New Zealand and have an excellent reputation.
As well as having significant market share they are also well known for having an exceptional culture and are a company which invests substantially in it's people which is evident across all areas of their business.
Due to expansion within the sales team we are looking for an account manager to manage and further develop a portfolio of Tier 1 & 2 clients.
In this role you will work with both the vendors and the resellers to identify areas of sales opportunity within the customer base.
You will work with the marketing team to analyse and monitor performance and delivery initiatives the the market. This is a face-
to-face account management role, building relationships with new and existing resellers.
This position is suited to an experienced account manager who has a background selling technology products and understands how to build relationships with both resellers and vendors in a distributor environment.
You will have contacts within the technology sector in New Zealand and will be a hunter as well as being able to create strong long lasting relationships with your customers.
Being proactive and tenacious goes without saying as does the ability to work well in a tight team environment.
