We have an excellent career opportunity on offer for an experienced Senior Tax Advisory professional who is ready for a step into a Senior Consultant or Manager position.

As a highly commercial Tax Advisory Specialist, you will have demonstrated experience in providing advice and manage taxation issues.

You are a dynamic and passionate professional who can display clear leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as sound business acumen and strategic vision.

Due to our flexible working model, this opportunity can be based anywhere within New Zealand with a hybrid mix of time in the office and from home as long as you have access to one of our many dispersed offices.

    About you

    This role will suit a highly commercial, driven, adaptable and solution orientated experienced Tax Advisory Specialist with the following skills and experience :

  • Demonstrated experience in a specialist tax consulting role, preferably from mid-tier or Big 4 environment firms.
  • A degree in Commerce or Law and achieved CA / CPA qualification or equivalent
  • Sound experience working closely with broad range of clients across multiple industries
  • A sound understanding of the Agribusiness industry would be desirable, but not a must have
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and develop growth opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships based on trust and mutual respect
  • Solid negotiation and influencing skills
  • Proven leadership capability and willingness to mentor others
  • Thorough risk management knowledge
  • A positive and proactive attitude to life and interpersonal relationships in general
