Due to exponential growth and increased market share our client is seeking an experienced Senior Level Salesperson who has ideally had experience within the heating or associated Building Sectors Plumbing Electrical a real plus where you are competent dealing with End Users Commercial amp Domestic Customers as well as Merchant Channels Architects Specifiers and Installers Our client is instantly recognised as a Market Leader who supply leading edge heating solutions You will join a cohesive and fast paced sales environment where you will form an integral and pivotal position by adding value to your diverse mix of customers through your electro mechanical practical knowledge and ability to translate information relative to the technical knowledge of your audience The main focus of this role is continuing to develop great professional networks across a broad cross section of this industry including Customers Architects Builders Specifiers Installers Plumbing Merchants and Merchant Channels etc Utilising your superb sales and relationship management skills you will be well positioned to specify and introduce new products and solutions that deliver technical edge Key Responsibilities of this role include Retain existing key relationships and build new relationships across numerous vertical markets Stay abreast of new technology in the heating sector where your market intelligence will continue to ensure your employer remains in their strong position known as one of New Zealand s best suppliers of domestic and commercial heating solutions Liaise with prospects clients and influencers to understand their requirements for specific projects ensuring the company s range of products are specified as the preferred range Management and co ordination of specifications for domestic and commercial market opportunities overseeing successful installation and after sales service Prepare accurate and detailed sales quotations specifications working on an end to end process Create reports detailing design options recommendations for projects and developing detailed design specification reports that lead to measureable sales Ensuring all contracts are dealt with quickly and efficiently working with appropriate quantity levels Maintain effective reporting systems to reflect sales trends competitor positioning pricing and market share analysis Remain customer focused working with both internal and external customers To be successful in this role you will to possess Enviable communication and impressive relationship management skills where you have proven achievements in either face to face commercial sales ideally from within the building industry or perhaps you have had previous experience in a product specification role where you have proven relationship management skills Superb organisation and time management skills with the ability to effectively manage the Auckland Northland Territory Ability to develop and maintain relationships so that our client is seen as the expert in their industry Key to your success will lie in your problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally and effectively process and interpret information in order to retain the company s competitive edge Ideally be technologically adept skilled in several software applications and or an understanding of building code legislation Perhaps you have had some experience in Architecture Building or similar Design disciplines with an understanding of the Tender Contract process Competent in reading plans This role is truly a rare and fantastic opportunity If you have the pre requisite skills for this position along with a high degree of drive initiative integrity and honesty Please forward your Resume to Linda Ford in WORD FORMAT All applications will be treated in the strictest of confidence
