This role is part of the Operations & Service Group, which is responsible for delivering on the promise we make to our customers.
Operations & Service is made up of LIC's Artificial Breeding, Diagnostics, Farms Management, FarmWise, Field Assist, Heifer Management and Herd Testing teams.
We are currently looking for Artificial Breeding (AB) Technicians to train for work in the following areas : Wellington / Hawkes Bay / Manawatu.
To become a trained LIC AB Technician you first need to complete our training course. Training courses run between February and May and are made up of two one-
week block courses. Should you pass week 1, the 2nd week may not necessarily be consecutive. All individuals who pass both weeks are guaranteed employment in the coming season.
The training course has a non-refundable fee of $699.00+GST and is payable prior to undertaking the training. There are limited positions available on each training course so LIC will only take the best suited candidates.
