About the Team
In managing your own caseload you will have a sound knowledge of appropriate youth focussed mental health interventions and provide specialised assessment and treatment, with a strong emphasis on family inclusion and family therapy for youth (0-18 years), experiencing moderate to severe mental health difficulties.
In this role you will be committed to delivering excellence to youth and their family in an age appropriate and culturally appropriate manner, liaise effectively in partnership with community agencies to support the youth’s health and wellbeing.
As a practised youth therapist you will hold a relevant tertiary health professional qualification and equivalent membership to the appropriate professional association, (Social Worker, Occupational Therapy, Registered Nurse) plus relevant post graduate experience.
Previous experience in working with youth and families is an advantage.
