Flexible Hours Home base at Mercy in Epsom Xmas & New Year Shutdown Free car parkingWithin our growing Dietetics team we've recognised a need for a Charge Dietitian Manager.

This role will both practice within the team, and manage it, so you'll need the skills to provide effective leadership and operational management of our dietetic and food services across Mercy and Ascot Hospitals.

For the right person we can consider either full time or part time hours based on your availability.The responsibilities of this role will include : Practising as a Dietitian at MercyAscotLeading, managing and co-ordinating the delivery of the clinical dietetic service for MercyAscot to promotes optimal patient outcomes, in partnership with the patient, their family / whanau, and the multidisciplinary teamMaximising the efficiency and effectiveness of the dietetics service whilst ensuring a service delivery that exceeds customer expectations, achieves optimal patient outcomes and is financially responsiveManaging the environment, equipment, systems, financial and people resources to deliver a cost effective service of the highest standardDeveloping and updating related policies and procedures, and demonstrating continuous improvement and compliance with relevant professional standards and ethicsDelivering on MercyAscot's visions and values and contributing to strategic planningOur ideal candidate will : Be a New Zealand Registered Dietitian with current Annual Practicing CertificateHold a Master of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics) or Post Graduate Diploma Dietetics (PG Dip Diet) or equivalentMinimum of 5+ years' experience with an excellent reputation for clinical expertise and significant experience in the area of surgical dietetics (caring for bariatric, oncology, cardiovascular, ORL, major gastro-intestinal, radiotherapy)Have experience leading a clinical teamHave demonstrated experience in change management and quality improvementHave a strong commitment to customer serviceHave a reputation as a great team member with advanced interpersonal relationship skillsMercyAscot is a part of the Healthcare Holdings Group of companies and is New Zealand's largest private surgical facility with 22 theatres across 3 sites including an Intensive Care Unit and Coronary Care facilities.
