Wellington Hospitality Airport sites are looking for an Assistant Venue Manager to help lead the team!

Wellington Hospitality Group (WHG) owns and operates 4 venues at Wellington Airport :

  • The Blue Lady - An American Diner themed venue, serving top-notch burgers and cabinet food
  • United Brew'd Works - A perfect venue to enjoy a beverage and snack before your flight
  • Fortune Favours Pop-Up - Serving locally brewed beers & ciders
  • Percivals - Your coffee stop when you're on the go!
  • We need an Assistant Venue Manager who is happy with early starts and keen to work at all airport venues!

    As the Assistant Venue Manager your role is to run the establishment on a shift by shift basis, reporting directly into the Venue Manager.

    Your primary role is to be a fantastic host to our customers and the local community. We expect every staff member to know the names of all the locals and them to get to know you.

    You're expected to be able to manage a team, pushing them to execute Wellington Hospitality Group’s vision for providing exceptional customer experiences.

    Requirements for the role :

  • An outstanding employment history in the hospitality industry is a must and at least 1 year at management level
  • A valid LCQ and Manager’s License is essential
  • A natural leader who can encourage their team
  • A great communicator
  • Ability to be an awesome host and to create excellent customer experiences
  • Disciplined and able to have strong control of a busy restaurant & bar
  • Have a passion for good friendly service and an absolute pro on the floor
  • Ambition, commitment to the role and a love of the service industry
