Project Engineer Road Construction Bay of Plenty

Having just secured a major project starting in a few months my client is looking for a Project Engineer to assist in the delivery of that project.

This is a leading contractor, well established throughout New Zealand, and this project involves the construction of a new road including earthworks, deep drainage and associated civil works.

As a Project Engineer you will have a strong track record of delivery in the civil and infrastructure space and be looking to push on from what you’ve already achieved.

Your experience can be in a variety of civil disciplines whether as an already established Project Engineer or as a Site Engineer or Site Manager looking to make that step up.

Key to the role is your ability to utilise your team on site including trades, junior engineers and subcontractors. Support exists throughout the organisation but as a project engineer you will be encouraged to work independently with the direct support from the Construction Manager.

Desirable attributes include,

A degree or equivalent industry qualification

Experience of civil and infrastructure projects of $5million or above

Excellent man management, communication and IT skills

A sense of humour and a desire to do a great job
