We have a Hospital Sales Representative opportunity available for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional within our high profile respiratory therapeutic area with a focus on the GSK’s innovative inhaled and biologic products.

  • Reporting into the Head of Pharmaceuticals - Marketing you will have full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within your territory;
  • providing a consistent, science-led and value-added service for Respiratory Clinicians that supports best treatment outcomes for patients with asthma, severe asthma and COPD.

    Your role will be varied and will include :

  • Building and developing relationships and credibility with external experts & health care professionals in the respiratory field and participating in robust and transparent scientific dialogue.
  • Using insights to develop and deliver a comprehensive business and account plans to drive value and deliver growth.
  • Identifying, developing and delivering specialist advocacy initiatives and opportunities.
  • Supporting the implementation of key programmes which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market.
  • Continuing to expand your knowledge and expertise in the respiratory area.
  • To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical sales role preferably with secondary care experience.
  • A working understanding of the complexities of the NZ hospital environment.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills with the ability to interpret and relay complex scientific information.
  • Clear and influential communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both commercial and medical stakeholders.
  • A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills.
