    About the Role

    Reporting to the P3M Lead the Resource Planner is responsible for ensuring that resources are managed efficiently and effectively in order to optimise use of resources to achieve performance targets and programme deliverables and the overall delivery of the portfolio to minimize overtime spend.

    This role is required to work collaboratively with the Programme Managers to ensure that their resourcing requirement plans will enable the successful delivery of the programme outcomes.

    To be successful you will have the following attributes and skills :

  • Tertiary qualification in a QA related discipline and / or experience in a similar role
  • At least 5+ years as a workforce planner and / or resource planner
  • Good knowledge of workforce management tools and an in-depth understanding of forecasting methods and formulas.
  • Proven relevant experience working with a large complex project and organisation.
  • Identification and implementation of new methodology for planning, including the use, development, or procurement of effective workforce management software (WFM) and or other in-house systems / Excel / google docs
  • Committed to process and practice improvement
  • Self-motivated, proactive, with the ability to use initiative and work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to resolve issues and manage risk
  • Solid organization skills including attention to detail, time management and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders at all levels in a professional manner and particularly the ability to present ideas, information and advice in a way that is understandable by a range of audiences.
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Has sound judgement and makes consistently good decisions.
  • Understands putting the customer at the heart of everything they do.
  • Demonstrates ability to embrace new technologies
  • Ability to understand and apply agile ways of working
  • Applies a growth mindset and focused on self-development and growth
