This vacancy is for a high needs client based in his own home situated in Whangarei - you will be a key part of his 24-7 team, supporting him on a rostered basis across Monday to Sunday (including AM, PM and night shifts).
We have several part and full time roles available, starting as soon as possible. Our client loves the outdoors, wood work, and hands on activities - we are looking for similar minded carers.
What does a Support Worker do?
Our support workers assist our clients to live as independently as possible, in their community. Support workers are part of a team and work set shifts - aiding with personal care (showering, toileting etc) community outings and integration, and other aspects of daily living.
Ultimately you are a very important part of their day, whether it is to help prepare and cook their meals, to supporting them through achieving their goals.

50 per hour, with the opportunity to progress once you have completed our fully funded NZQA training and qualifications. You will also start on a guaranteed hours basis - no casual contract!
