The key attributes we are looking for are :
You will be computer literate, able to work rostered shifts (24 / 7 rosters), have a full NZ driver licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle.
Our standards are high so should you apply to join us you will undergo a comprehensive selection process that assesses you on our core competencies.
You’ll then complete a paid residential twelve week initial training course. In return you’ll get opportunities for professional development, promotion and the ability to gain a qualification in offender management.
Starting salary of $51,490 increasing to $54,001 after initial training.
All candidates are required to complete a full disclosure criminal history check and pre-employment medical, physical and drug tests .
Note : As a Corrections Officer your full convictions history will be checked as this position is exempt from the Clean Slate Act.
