Taupō District Council are looking for a facilities officerto join their diverse and dynamic facilities team.
Theprimary purpose of this role is to manage projects specifically related tocouncil properties across the district. Youwill also provide assistance for the ongoing development of relevant assetmanagement plans.
Responsibilities include :
Reviewing and updating asset management programmes / schedules.
Contributingto the identification of the property needs and opportunities in the district.
Maintaining project management processes and providingproject management services.
Coordinating the delivery of planned improvementsand alterations at council properties.
Preparing consultants briefs for special projectsand schedules for minor planned maintenance.
Project administration and supervision for specificdesign projects.
Developing service level agreements.
Investigating historical and heritage informationrelating to projects and activities.
Carrying out data collection in commercialfacilities.
Our ideal candidate will have :
Expert knowledgeof facilities management and asset management planning and principles.
Database managementand computer operation experience.
A tertiaryqualification in a relevant field and 2-3 years post qualification experiencein construction and projects.
The abilityto confidently read construction drawings.
Excellentwritten, oral communication and report writing skills.
The abilityto provide customer focused services.
