About the role

We have an opportunity for Customer Service Officers (CSOs) to join our team working for the Families Customer Segment based in Hamilton.

We love to hire people who are passionate about the service they provide; are naturally curious; look for continuous improvements and are committed to what they do.

You will work in an area that supports parents involved in Child Support. You will engage with customers around their Child Support entitlements and obligations.

  • This is a full-time, fixed-term opportunity from Monday, 24 June 2019 to Friday, 29 November 2019
  • We operate a rotating shift roster working Monday to Friday on 7-hour, 35-minute shifts between the hours of 7.25am and 8.30pm
  • We require CSOs who are committed and have the ability to work in a structured environment
  • If you are shortlisted for this vacancy you will need to complete online testing as part of the recruitment process
  • What you'll need to bring to the role

    CSOs must be agile; have strong emotional resilience; adjust well to change and be keen to embrace new technologies. You will have a strong level of commitment to delivering a high standard of customer service.

    As a CSO you will demonstrate :

  • Great problem-solving skills and the ability to view issues from a customer perspective
  • A passion for providing excellent customer service through high quality customer interactions over a range of channels
  • A team focus, supporting your colleagues and the wider team for the good of the customer
  • Great time management skills, accuracy and reliability
  • High levels of integrity and confidentiality
  • The ability to operate comfortably in a digital environment and support customers to be digitally self-managed
  • Preferably prior customer service experience
  • A desire to learn new skills
