New Plymouth District Council is looking for a Business Improvement Advisor for our Planning & Infrastructure Group, reporting to the GM Planning & Infrastructure.
This role is a key enabler to the customer facing teams to be able to deliver high quality products and services to our community with reliable and repeatable good results.
This role is also responsible for the coordination and delivery of business improvement initiatives to support the implementation of the Planning & Infrastructure Group’s Integrated Management System and its certification against the ISO standards for 55000 (asset management), 9001 (quality management) and 14001 (environmental management).
In order to do this the person will undertake business analysis work, process mapping and will require a range of business, financial and commercial acumen.
You will be future focused and be able to drive operational efficiency and excellence.
Ideally, you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in business management or related discipline, proven experience in change management and project management and strong people skills with experience in leading, influencing and building credibility across a range of stakeholders
