We're seeking a health and safety enthusiast to join our team in the work we do to strengthen and support our exceptional culture of care.

The opportunity

  • Your work will be varied and multi-faceted. Across your work you will :
  • Support and role model the continued development of a positive and proactive health and safety culture.
  • Work alongside people leaders and teams to ensure everyone understands what is expected and have the skills and knowledge to manage health and safety.
  • Update and maintain H&S frameworks, policies, plans and procedures.
  • Identify and manage risks, issues, and hazards at a practical level and within our systems.

    When we’re not in lockdown, we work flexibly and connect with each other in our newly built wellbeing-centric workspaces in Wynyard Quarter.

    This is a great time to join us as the organisation matures in its agile journey and we adapt our People and Wellbeing team to serve the organisation in its new shape.

    We would love to chat with you if you have :

  • 3+ years in a Health and Safety role within a NZ corporate environment
  • A burning desire to put people at the heart of everything you do - Ko ngā tāngata te pūtake o te mahi
  • Excellent technical skills with a mind for data and analytics
  • An authentic, confident, and proactive approach to your work and your relationships
  • A growth mindset with the desire to learn from and generously coach others
  • Flexibility to thrive in a transformational environment; you’ll love agility and Agile
  • A genuine interest in improving health and wellbeing of all New Zealanders.
