Job Description

You must have extensive knowledge and design experience using Civil3D, which is our core design software for the ANZ region.

You will be responsible for delivering civil designs and documentation on various large scale civil projects, across our Transport and Energy sectors.

Assisting in setting standards, procedures, protocols and templates in Civil 3D will be an important part of this role. You will also provide mentorship to other designers and be a key go to person within the office.

Candidate Specification

For this role, you will require :

  • Indicative experience of 5+ years in a similar role
  • Diploma level of qualification or higher would be preferable
  • Experience in detailed design of transport and civil infrastructure projects
  • Ability to explain design techniques to other users
  • Ability to adopt emerging Technologies
  • Experience in or desire to mentor junior designers & drafters
  • Able to develop and implement processes and procedures
  • Great overall communication and desire to work as a team player
  • Comprehensive knowledge of NZ local design standards
  • To be successful, you will be committed to the highest standards of service, focused on strong client relationships and exceptional project outcomes.
