He Kōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role
We are looking for a Registered Nurse for a Preschool Public Health Nursing position. This is a permanent position based in Whakatāne.
The role offers a degree of autonomy, amazing job satisfaction and team support.
You will work with school aged children, their families, and whānau, in the community to address a wide range of health and social issues.
A good understanding of the issues facing children will be an advantage. This position will also support the School Based Immunisation Team so knowledge of immunisations and an Authorised Vaccinator Certificate will be an advantage.
You will have your own caseload, work independently, and have the support of a great team. You will need to overcome challenges and cope with the unexpected.
