  • Leading role in planning and leading priority focus areas for change across the Nelson Marlborough mental health and addiction servicesNgā mōhiohio e pā ana ki tēnei mahi (About this position)Nelson Marlborough Health has been working closely with itsmental health and additions primary and community partners to deliver a MentalHealth and Addictions transformation programme.
  • Initiated in 2015 / 16, thisprogramme started from using the findings of several previous reviews at thattime, to identify, test and deliver tangata whāiora and whānau centred serviceimprovement, change and transformation.

    This new piece of mahi will review andbuild on that improvement work. Right now we are looking for a programme lead to lead,facilitate and project manage what priority changes could be madewithin existing resources.

    You will be instrumental in shaping co-design andclient experiences approaches to help set priority changes to the NelsonMarlborough districts integrated mental health and addiction services.

    Through a partnership model with Iwi and primary andcommunity partners and alongside tanagata waiora, whānau and communities we areseeking to build strong levels of tino rangatiratanga, to both protect andenable tino rangatiratanga to thrive.

    Thisfixed-term position, working 64 hours a fortnight, will run through until 30thJune 2023.Ko wai he kaitono tōtika?

    Who is an appropriate applicant?)You will be someone with strong project management skills,with experience overseeing larger scale projects.

    It will be agreat opportunity for you to use your skills in critical thinking, problemsolving and change management. You also need to someone with excellent communication(verbal and written) skills, and be able to demonstrate your ability to workwith a wide range of audiences and build relationships quickly.
