About the role :

  • Support & lead project work in timber engineering, design & construction, building science, bio-based building materials and built environment areas
  • Work in a stimulating and diverse research organisation
  • Future career growth and training opportunities
  • The role is for a fixed term of 1 year
  • This role will work as a team member in the Materials, Engineering & Manufacturing Group although in our matrixed organisation, collaboration with multiple teams and disciplines is expected.

    What will you need for this role?

  • Minimum qualification is a degree in Structural Engineering, Architecture or Physics (Building Science) with good analytical and practical skills.
  • 5+ years experience in the building science area or in the building industry and established relationships in the sector
  • Ability to apply skills in project planning, execution and management
