Provide a high quality maintenance service;
Carry out general household maintenance;
Maintain and develop the grounds of the home to provide an attractive living space for our residents;
Perform routine decoration work to a good standard;
Perform small-scale building tasks (fitting and adapting) to a reasonable standard;
Perform maintenance work to equipment and appliances;
Maintain records as required by your manager;
Attend meetings and training activities including fire and evacuation procedures, health and safety etc. as required; and
In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, you are required to perform other duties assigned by the Maintenance Officer / Business Manager from time to time that are within your capabilities.
About you :
You need to be someone who enjoys working with older people and can have an empathy with them;
You need to be supportive of the Christian Ethos and values practiced in the Home;
You need to be able to work in a team and be willing to be flexible whilst taking on any task to provide an excellent level of service to our clients; and
You need to be a well-organised, practical and adaptable person.
We offer a full induction to the work and also provide other training as required by the post.
Part-time Contract available- 12 hours per week.
A flexible work pattern is available. There may also be on-call and out-of-hours duties on occasions.
