In Marlborough, Adult Mental Health Services aredelivered by an established multi-disciplinary team based at the WairauHospital.
This team works in close association with partner services to deliver a comprehensive clinical resource to those affected by acuteor enduring severe mental illness.
Working as part of a small team duties will includeassessment and acute management of individuals presenting with mental healthproblems, or in metal distress.
Normal hours of work are between 8.00AM and 4.30PM, Monday to Friday.Occasional overtime will be required for the completion of duties.
Thisposition also requires the post holder to hold the position of, and undertakeduties pertaining to, a Duly Authorised Officer.

You will need be a Registered Psychiatric orComprehensive Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapists with an up to date knowledge of mental health and associated issues.
You will possess thepersonal resilience and professional attributes required to undertake thischallenging role.
