Toi Te Ora Public Health is seeking health professionals with a clinical background (nurses, physiotherapist, etc) to investigate and follow up COVID-19 cases, contacts and exposure events.

A great orientation programme will be organised for as well as training sessions to get you up to speed.

The preferred candidate will have :

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility to work with changing processes and procedures
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Competence with using information technology
  • Ability to relate to a diverse range of people
  • A strong work ethic, demonstrated professionalism and maintain confidentiality of information
  • You must be able to work in New Zealand and the work is available to start immediately. This role is up until 30 June 2022 and includes rostered weekend work.

    These are fixed term positions between 0.6 FTE (three days per week) up to 1.0 FTE (five days per week) and will work with the contact tracing team based at either the Tauranga, Rotorua or Whakatāne Toi Te Ora Public Health offices.
