This role requires a critical thinker with the ability to manage complex systems and develop new opportunities to contribute and develop unique and thorough solutions to the issues facing our region.
You will be a strong communicator with the ability to convey information in a manner suited to the intended audience, and possess strong interpersonal skills which allow you to build and maintain effective working relationships.
Reporting to the Team Leader - Aquatic Ecosystems, you will take a collaborative and proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong networks with community groups to promote and advance our research, science and technology needs.
You will promote stakeholder engagement in relation to the surface water quality projects we undertake, and will mentor staff to assist with their professional and personal development.
This role will suit someone with the ability to plan, implement and manage surface water quality science investigations that contribute to the achievement of our strategic outcomes, and who is confident providing specialist advice and expertise as required.
You will oversee our project teams, providing leadership and direction to ensure the successful delivery of our programmes and the achievement of key surface water quality outputs on time and within budget.

An initial offer of remuneration will be made within the range $91,970 - $102,790
