ABOUT THE ROLE
As the Digital Development Manager, you will motivate a talented team of testers and developers, and take overall responsibility for the development of quality digital experiences that allow the business to deliver what their customers care about.
Lead a team of technical specialists to develop, implement and support the company's digital solutions
Set a clear technical vision, ensure quality build outcomes and the adoption of Agile practices
Identify and incorporate new development tools, automation and testing strategies that promote quality, and iterative, continuous delivery
Work closely with Architecture and API teams to define standards and help select frameworks that support the technical vision
Work with the rest of the digital leadership team to coordinate application support activities and look for opportunities to streamline existing processes
As part of the leadership team support the planning and delivery of the company's digital vision and shape the digital agenda
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
We are seeking someone who is decisive, confident, and who has the ability to inspire and energise their team. In order to be considered you will need :
5+ years' experience managing development teams and proven success in process improvement
Extensive technical understanding across the digital domain
Demonstrated subject matter expertise and understanding of digital development and testing best practices
Excellent management / leadership skills in large, complex organisations
Strong vendor and stakeholder management capabilities
Proven experience successfully managing development teams in an Agile / Scrum environment
