About the role

A great opportunity exists for an experienced HR Business Partner with a background in manufacturing or supply chain to provide support over a 12 month fixed term Maternity cover.

Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager of our Auckland factory and leading a team of two, you will play a hands-on role in managing the site’s operational HR function.

This opportunity will allow you to apply your broad range of generalist HR expertise while delivering on operational HR activities.

This role has a primary focus on culture, employment and industrial relations and change management and is also responsible for management of training and development and site admin / reception.

About you

You will have tertiary qualifications within HR or a related field and have demonstrated experience in a hands-on HR position gained in a similar environment.

You will have a focus on culture and a passion for developing and supporting managers, leaders and employees across the site.

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Previous all-rounder HR generalist experience, your current title may be HR Business Partner or HR Advisor who is ready to take that next step up
  • HR Experience working within the Manufacturing or Supply Chain industry is essential
  • Experience working with unions
  • A natural focus on people and display genuine care and empathy towards others
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with people from a broad range of backgrounds
  • Either permanent residency or NZ citizenship
