About the Opportunity
We are on the hunt for someone with an enthusiasm for health services development, planning, and a natural curiosity for analysis and data interpretation.
Supported by the Service Planning Manager, you will use your passion for data and planning to support services in the development of service and annual plans for the delivery of health services in the hospital and the community.
Extensive experience in data manipulation and processing is not essential, but you will need to be quantitatively savvy and inquisitive.
Within this role, you will seek to understand different data sources that services use for planning and monitoring outputs and outcomes, and supporting the interpretation, application and communication of findings that are relevant for planning.
Accordingly, a degree of data manipulation and presentation (such as in Excel) will be required - bridging the evidence and the planning fronts.
In parallel, this people-focussed role will mean engaging with different services and supporting them in the development of their plans.
About you
As a confident communicator, you will be comfortable actively engaging with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
To be successful in this position, you will also need to demonstrate the following :
Experience in health would be an advantage but is not essential. A clean class-one license is required as district-wide travel is expected in this role.
