As an Asset Finance Specialist, you will be responsible for driving revenue and growth for the business within the commercial space.
The key focus will be driving growth with new customers and supporting their asset finance business needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Asset Finance that has a passion for sales and enjoys helping their customers out.
The role has great earning potential with an OTE up to $200K.
What Does An Average Day Look Like?
No day is average at flexicommercial but here’s an idea of what you can expect to do in this role :
Identify and develop a portfolio of new commercial customers for flexicommercial in Asset Finance.
Develop strategic plans and sales strategies to achieve new budget targets.
Identifying and enter new markets, and industry verticals to expand the flexicommmercial products.
Promoting and selling our range of commercial products and services to existing and prospective commercial businesses predominantly in Asset Finance.
Manage and report on individual sales pipeline.
Understand expertly the features and benefits of secured loan and leasing products, and the ability to overcome objections.
Monitoring and reporting regularly on revenue and budget performance.
Develop and manage sales strategy across the dedicated region.
Develop and build relationships with key business intermediaries accountants etc.
Identify the scope of, and capitalise on, business opportunities to achieve key sales targets.
Implement a regimented weekly planning schedule to effectively manage client base.
Develop brand awareness for flexicommercial in the Asset Finance industry.

Financial industry experience, preferably within asset financing.
Ability to review financial statements and provide commentary.
Proven track record in achieving new business sales and goals against budgets.
Experience in selling commercial products.
Proven Key Account / Partner management experience.
Strong business acumen and management of complex business customer relationships.
Strong numerical, verbal, written communications skills and presentation skills.
Ability to deal with complex relationships within a high-pressure environment.
Knowledge of financial adviser regulation in New Zealand, including the Financial Advisers Act and Code of Professional Conduct for Authorized Financial Advisers.
Awareness of key relevant legislation, e.g. Privacy Act, Consumer Guarantees Act, Credit Contracts and Consumer Finance Act..
Acts with care and diligence and is careful not to mislead customers in providing financial advice
