JOB DESCRIPTION FOR POSITION OF INDIAN CURRY / TANDOORCOOK- GREAT INDIA RESTAURANT

  • Preparation and cooking of Indian food and accompaniments as per menu
  • Operate Tandoor oven
  • Marinate preparations
  • In house Great Indiacurry and garam masala preparations
  • Dough making for Indian breads
  • Pastry making
  • Specialist knifeskills including special butcher cuts
  • Vertical skewer grilling
  • Joint responsibility with other chefs for kitchen
  • Provide assistance toother cooking staff
  • Maintenance of hygiene standards
  • Maintenanceof health and safety in work place
  • Joint responsibility forefficient operation of kitchen
  • Any other duties that may bereasonably required from time to time as need arises
  • Thewage would be $21.05 gross per hour.

    30hours minimum guaranteed

    Workwill be performed 6 days Monday thru Sunday.

    Normal working hours 11am -2pm and 5pm -10pm
