We are looking for an experienced Privacy Compliance Manager to join Harvey Norman Head Office team based in Manukau. In this great opportunity for you to work in a national role across all the business departments and stores managing our compliance and privacy functions.

  • You will develop and enhance our risk, privacy and compliance frameworks to ensure good conduct and ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.

    Working collaboratively with our senior leaders and their teams you will help them understand, identify and implement risk mitigation and control improvement actions, focusing on consumer, fair trading and privacy regulatory system, ensuring risk is everyone's responsibility.

  • To be successful in this role, you will need to have;
  • At least 3 years of internal / external organisational compliance or legal experience.
  • Ability to understand and apply consumer related legislation including, Fair Trading Act, Consumer Guarantees Act and Privacy Act.
  • Sound understanding of the retail operating environment or similar.
  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to confidently represent the company in disputes, including a tribunal environment.
  • Excellent communication skills to suit the audience and ability to build effective relationships across all levels of the organisation.
