DNV GL Maritime Area Australia & New Zealand provides Maritime and Offshore Classification related services to the ANZ Maritime and Energy Systems industries.
Clients include ship / offshore-owners, ship / offshore-managers, shipyards, ship designers and various manufacturers of maritime / offshore related components.
The Maritime Business Area makes up around 30 of the 120 DNV GL staff within Australia with Maritime staff based in offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Hobart, Perth, Darwin and Cairns.
We are looking for a talented recent graduate to join the Technical Trainee Program. The program will rotate the candidate through various locations over 2 years with the intention of maximising learning opportunities across all Maritime service lines but with particular focus in the field of Ship Classification.
The structured trainee program includes participation in our formal training scheme and includes mentoring from top experts in their relevant fields.
This is a valuable platform on which to build your competence in making the world safer, smarter and greener.
At completion of the program the candidate will take up a permanent position as a Maritime Surveyor with DNV Australia / New Zealand.
The successful candidate may be required to undertake a pre-employment medical, background screening and testing. Only applicants with permanent work rights will be considered for this role.
