Reporting to our People Leader - Asia Pacific and General Manager - NZ / Pacific, this role will lead and shape our people function in NZ and the Pacific.
We are driving growth and transformational change and need someone who can lead strategic and operational programmes that support the achievement of our business goals.
As a member of the NZ / Pacific Leadership Team, you will be working closely with our business leaders to set up our teams for success and deliver programmes that enable our people to thrive and drive step-change transformation and performance.
Set a path to achieving a culture of high performance that serves to attract and retain great talent
Act as a change champion to support GHD's global people strategy and support the business through transformational change
Ensure our leaders are equipped to lead their teams and are accountable for their people and their development
Lead and develop the capability of the People team
Oversee a full spectrum of activities including; development of people leadership capability, performance management, change management, wellbeing, legal and policy compliance, L&OD, attraction and retention of top talent
Support the local delivery of global people transformation programmes
Develop trusted partnerships with key stakeholders and the broader business.
What you will bring to the team
15+ years of professional experience, providing generalist HR / People Management strategy and operational delivery
Excellent communication, influencing and relationship management skills
Big picture and innovative thinking approach
Change management skills that embed new behaviours and practices
