Job Description

We’re a smallish organisation with big ideas. Through our mahi with researchers, clinicians, health agencies and patients, we identify opportunities for change and innovation in detection, treatment and patient support for breast cancer (te mate ūtaetae).

We’re looking for someone who can help us bring great ideas to solid reality, building a pipeline of quantified, scoped projects in keeping with our kaupapa of pushing for new frontiers in early detection treatment and support.

Your work will help to ignite fundraising and enable us to make a real difference to wāhine with breast cancer the biggest killer of Māori and Pacific women under 65.

You’ll help us develop ground-breaking products and services from concept to reality, while maximising the efficiency of our project spend.

To do this job you’ll need :

  • a track record in identifying gaps and solutions
  • a track record of planning and implementing successful initiatives
  • strong organisational, critical thinking and creativity skills
  • effective verbal and written communication skills
  • understanding of the principles of equity and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • preferably, experience in the health sector
  • You’ll need to be a self-starter, able to work independently but enjoying being part of a high-performing team that is committed to pushing for new frontiers in early detection, treatment and support for breast cancer.
