Service Desk Technician Mitre 10 New Zealand Limited is a dynamic and growing company and this is your opportunity to join a highlyskilled Technology team focused on the implementation and support of leadingedge IT projects throughout our billiondollar business We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Service Desk Technician to join our Albany based Support Centre The role focuses on providing superb technical support to internal team members within both the Support Centre and stores enabling them to maximise their productivity and use technology effectively to achieve their business objectives Best suited for someone who will champion the customer s needs within the Technology team to provide a fast and easy service while promoting user awareness of technology This will see you primarily supports the technology infrastructure which includes computer hardware operating systems technology management tools systems and applications to enable Mitre 10 team members to efficiently carry out day to day business A real opportunity to develop and hone your skills and knowledge within a large retail business that is going through a real stepchange in its technology offering As part of the DevOps team you will report to the Service Desk Manager and be tasked with ensuring Incoming incidents and service requests are managed and resolved in an effective timely manner Major incidents are escalated and managed within the Major Incident Procedure Knowledge of supported services is maintained and up to date whenever a change is implemented or discovered Appropriate and timely communication with users and all other key stakeholders is delivered and The delivery of the highest possible customer experience through maintaining high standards across all aspects of your role For this role we seek someone with 2 years Service Desk support experience in a large enterprise Demonstrated understanding and involvement in the use of remote management tools for desktop application and server support Proven experience in the support of Office 365 and all Microsoft Windows operating systems A sound working knowledge of Azure AD and related network services Solid experience in the use of user provisioning tools Proven experience in managing business application platforms such as POS systems and business systems such as Time Attendance SAP Microsoft Dynamics MYOB etc Experience supporting IT systems in a retail organisation either within New Zealand or overseas will be a real benefit We offer a challenging and stimulating work environment with flexible working hours Youll work with fun collaborative team members where youll be empowered to perform Our location is easily accessible from the motorway not forgetting about the amazing discount buying privileges and other sundry benefits If this sounds like the opportunity youve been waiting for please apply with your cover letter CV and indication of salary expectation
