Project Manager- MāoriFulltimeFixed-term December 2022 Nau mai, haere mai : calling all exceptional project managers Māori to join the Māori Health Response Team (fixed term) within the Northern Region Health Coordination Centre (NRHCC).
The role is responsible for project management, process change and support across all the programmes and services to achieve the agreed aims and deliver improved Māori health outcomes.
Given the high proportion of Māori people impacted by COVID-19, a strong understanding of Māori health equity approaches and Māori models of care will be key to this role.
To be successful in this role, you will need to work effectively with project stakeholders, clinical and service managers, other project team and Māori and iwi-led health providers.
Our ideal candidate would be a competent individual who works well in a fast-paced environment with a proven record of demonstrating success in a project management role and will have a good understanding of te ao Māori (Māori world perspectives) and demonstrated ability to speak te reo Māori (Māori language).
We are looking for an experienced project manager who has : Strong Māori health equity focus and culturally safe practise Strong analytic, problem-solving, and process improvement skills Manage project and effectively collaborate and engage with stakeholders, Māori and iwi-led providers, and communities Provide reports and documentation that supports project stages, progress, and delivery Ability to work under pressure, manage conflicting priorities and meet tight deadlines Excellent verbal and written communication skillsThis is a full-time fixed-term contract based in Auckland CBD through to December 2022.
