    About the role

    We have a great opportunity for an Executive Assistant to provide support to both the Group Director of Services and Group Director of Business Services here at Emerge Aotearoa.

    You may be an experienced EA or this could be the next step in your career. Either way you will be ready to make a real difference in the organisation and to the working lives of the two very busy executives!

    In this role, there will be a variety of work to ensure our Group Directors are able to function at a high level. A normal day could look like scheduling and planning their days, organising events, booking travel, preparing communications, collating information and supporting teams.

    In this role you'll also gain exposure to the many and varied activities of a large not for profit organisation that delivers services across the country.

    Our ideal candidate will have strong people skills, a great sense of humour, professionalism but more importantly, you will be ambitious and care about getting things done.

    You will be excited to work in a Not for Profit organisation and see the positive results we achieve in the work we do.

  • brilliant organising skills
  • the ability to take initiative
  • exceptional technical capability
  • lots of energy and enthusiasm
  • high level of English communication, both written and verbal
  • advanced communication / literacy skills
  • demonstrated ability to deal with concepts and complexity comfortably
  • to never be afraid to provide suggestions about how to do things better and connect with the right people to make it happen.
