With genetics contributing 43% of the annual rate of on-farm productivity, LIC's contribution to the New Zealand dairy industry is in the realm of 300 million dollars per year.
With three direct reports, it is the responsibility of the Product Lead to ensure that our genetic product offerings remain relevant to meet our customer needs, not only today, but also into the future.
About YouReporting to the Genetics Business Manager, you will be responsible for : Providing support and visibility of the genetic offerings to NZ Markets sales teams and product groups, providing methods, programmes and tools in line with NZ Markets customer solutions focus, ensuring the continued success of LIC genetics.
Managing financial and operational targets.Providing expertise and knowledge, representing NZ Markets and using your communication skills to positively influence relationships as required.
Your Key Skills and Experience : A relevant degree, or work experience, appropriate with the seniority of this position.A strong agricultural / genetics background with a sound knowledge of farm management practices, and extensive agricultural-
related experience.In depth company wide knowledge and experience / technical skills including a proven ability to facilitate at all levels both within LIC and the agricultural industry.
Strong ability to build rapport with employees, customers and key stakeholders.To be successful at LIC means you'll thrive in a fast-
