Student Academic Adviser Faculty of Arts Fixed Term until December 2019

We seek an individual with excellent customer service skills to join the Faculty of Arts as a Student Academic Advisor on a Fixed-

term contract until December 2019.

As a Student Academic Adviser, you will be responsible for providing advice and support to students across all aspects of their University careers, supporting them from student recruitment right through to graduation.

This is an incredibly rewarding role, where you will directly contribute to our students’ experience at the University of Auckland!

The Arts Students’ Centre team is focused on delivering excellent customer service while helping students with admissions, enrolments, completions, and recruitment.

You will provide advice and support to prospective and current students and university staff.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience providing a first-class customer service
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment
  • The ability to build strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders
  • Proven time management skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Tertiary qualified ideally or have relevant experience in a similar role
