The Project Manager - Healthcare Partnerships has a broad knowledge of healthcare information technology and the healthcare industry.

They will facilitate the operations and programs of the Healthcare Strategy (Partner Enablement) team. This role is responsible for conceptualizing, generating, planning, managing, and executing high-impact programs and projects for enablement partnership development for the Healthcare Strategy group.

Responsibilities include strategic planning, market analysis, partner and client management and partnership architecture solutioning and design, business case execution.

The Project Manager - Healthcare Partnerships will work with sales, product management, implementation, marketing, legal and development and support teams during the partnership development phase as well as ongoing support to cultivate and maintain the partnership going forward.

The Proje Manager will use templates, standard processes, and guidelines to leverage proven techniques and tools throughout program execution and project management.


  • Understanding the Healthcare Strategy team’s function, operational models, their overall goals, and the specific programs and projects to be performed
  • Proactively assessing, clarifying, and validating program and project execution on an ongoing basis
  • Maintains knowledge of industry trends and regulations
  • Coordinates and facilitates project meetings and negotiates with and managers for project resources and other project needs.
  • Maintains knowledge, understanding and the application of project analysis involving assessing risks / impacts to project schedules;
  • effectively identifying, mitigating, escalating and resolving issues; and related activities.

  • Creates high-level solution concepts articulating the partnership opportunity and exchange of information to and from future partners
  • Collects and communicates business / technical requirements for programs and projects among technical and non-technical audiences including but not limited to management and external vendors.
  • Creates, analyzes, documents and communicates project summaries, dashboards, project plans, risk tracking and status updates regularly to project team members and leadership across the organization as appropriate.
  • Documents the necessary project artifacts, such as schedules and work plans, estimates, issues tracking and status reporting, to manage the project lifecycle
  • Collects the necessary project artifacts to support compliance with business unit PMO standards.
  • Qualifications :

  • BA / BS degree required (business, communication, information technology, health informatics or equivalent major) or equivalent work experience.
  • 3+ years’ experience in project management
  • 3+ years experience in sales or consulting services
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work across a highly matrixed organization, interacting, influencing, negotiating effectively with all levels of leadership and peers
  • Excellent consultative, communication, and analytical skills
  • Healthcare industry experience preferably working with payers or provider transactional data such as claims, clinical, or medical billing
  • Proven project management experience with several SDLC approaches including waterfall and iterative implementation methodologies such as SAFe, Agile and Scrum
  • Demonstrated ability to document process, policy and procedure through process mapping and Subject Matter Expert Interviews
  • Experience with content management and collaboration tools in an IT project setting
  • Successfully demonstrated leadership experience in a fast-paced environment, with frequent and substantial priority changes, challenging timelines and major resource constraints is desired
  • Strong competency with MS Office Suite including MS Project for developing high-level schedules and detailed project plans;
  • MS Access and MS Excel for data analysis, manipulation, and delivery; MS Visio for workflows and data flow diagrams

  • Travel to attend face-to-face client or internal meetings, as needed, up to 10%
