Sitting within the Chief Financial Officer's team in Capital Projects and Asset Development, this newly created role is for a well organised, efficient, assertive and resilient Quality Assurance / Planning professional.

We are looking for well organised, self-starter to support our Project teams in delivering KiwiRail's multi-year transformation programme.

Your Role :

Reporting to the Programme Director - Integration, Risk and Assurance, the Programmes Integration Lead will be a subject matter expert in project planning and integration, ensuring effective monitoring of the time and financial performance of our programmes at a macro level.

You will collect regular data from our Lead Planners, feeding it into a Master Programme that you will develop into dashboard reporting for our ELT.

You will actively liaise with the Planners, driving consistent, high standards of tracking and proactively providing quality, detailed data to the GM / EGM.

Spending time in the detail of the critical path and milestones, you will regularly conduct Earned Value Analysis. You will be a committed resource that CPAD can bank on.

Your Skills :

You are an expert programmer with previous experience gained on large and complex infrastructure / construction projects.

A subject matter expert in the use of project scheduling techniques, you are confident in advising and influencing programme changes to ensure best possible outcomes at a macro level.

You understand and can accurately calculate slack, resource levelling and other programme optimisation techniques. A high-end user of project management software for producing Gantt charts and tracking progress, you can effectively integrate multiple projects into one enterprise program.

You have a track record of developing fit-for-purpose, effective Work Breakdown Structures that provide a clear and concise project view.
