Being part of the largest specialist tax practice in Wellington, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a diverse team that continues to grow.

Our national specialist transfer pricing team is award winning, and a leader in helping our clients navigate through periods of complexity and international change.

You will advise some of the largest businesses across the country and in the process develop your technical and management skills.

What your typical day will look like : As part of the role you will be responsible for contributing to and / or managing a portfolio of clients ranging in size from start-ups trying to expand overseas to large multinational companies within various industries giving you the experience to grow your technical knowledge in all aspects.

You will demonstrate and develop your capabilities in the following areas :

  • Act as a role model and recognizing others for the impact they make.
  • Work with clients to manage outcomes and provide advice on all aspects of transfer pricing planning and compliance, and collaborate with the wider team to assist in engaging with Inland Revenue on various matters including controversy and dispute resolution, and APAs.
  • Assist clients to implement practical transfer pricing strategies and policies at an operational level.
  • Apply knowledge of current and pending international tax legislation and understanding interaction across global tax functions, and interact with other colleagues globally to manage projects and outputs.
  • Develop high-performing people and teams through interesting and meaningful opportunities.
  • Influence clients and the team positively, lead by example and establish confident relationships with senior people.
  • Fact based decision making by using the appropriate research techniques and skills.
  • Help clients mitigate risk, meet compliance obligations and statutory deadlines, and realize business goals.
  • Take advantage of global and APAC transfer pricing technical training and development opportunities.

  • Ideally 3+ years of transfer pricing experience in a similar role
  • Excellent team player and proven organisational and communications skills
  • An energetic and proactive attitude
  • Results focused & client oriented. A drive to develop people and grow their career. Serve as a role model for integrity, respect and appreciation of others, including their unique strengths and differences
  • An ability to work in New Zealand immediately
