Now, we’re on the lookout for someone like you, a people focused Cyber Security Manager, to join ourcyber, privacy and resilience team in our community oriented Christchurch office.

We have a small but well-rounded bunch of unique individuals in Christchurch who are passionate about staying up to date with developments in the information security space, combined with a desire to help people and businesses find solutions to problems that they never knew existed.

What will your typical day look like? ·Proactively pursue business development opportunities including participating in end to end procurement / RFP / RFI cycles.

  • Collaborate and build lasting relationships with new and existing clients and internal teams to deliver a range of cyber security and risk consulting services which showcases your technical acumen.
  • Deliver projects and design fit for purpose security solutions from our portfolio of offerings, such as managed services, cyber incident response, security assessments and security implementations.
  • Apply the latest security techniques, tools and trends to provide confidence and direction in delivering critical business needs in the areas of cloud adoption, digital working, automation, networking, application development.
  • Play an active role as a coach and mentor to build capabilities and instil confidence within your team, all while playing an integral part in maintaining a high performing culture aligned to Deloitte’s core values.
  • Mindfulness to continuously cultivate client relationships and demonstrating a drive and passion to simply get things done as the trusted advisor.
  • Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with : ·At least 5 years’ experience delivering cyber security solutions.

    Appropriate certifications and qualifications in IT Security or Computer Science will be highly beneficial. ·Proven leadership and management qualities, which translates into an ability to deliver tangible valuable to clients and teams.

  • An outcomes focused mindset who can comfortably translate business requirements into deliverable actions that meet or exceed client expectations, and able to identify future opportunities to innovate and improve our levels of service to clients.
  • Able to demonstrate a good understanding across a range of cyber security topics that could include cloud security, cyber incident response practices, DevSecOps, identity & access management, security testing and privacy.
  • Experience working in consulting / professional services environment with a focus on people and relationships.·Excellent command of English, spoken and written, as report writing and presentations are an essential part of the position.
