JOB OBJECTIVES : The Service Supervisor is responsible for all day to day running of the Service ( Sprinkler and Alarms ), Minor Works and Quoted Remedial ( and other work when required ) to ensure financial and customer expectations are meet.

You will be required to organise staff and other organisational issues within the department including all material etc to ensure jobs are completed on time and in spec.

As the position involves all tasks related to the smooth operation and well being of the department, an overview only of the specific tasks can be identified.

These tasks shall include but not be limited to the following : KEY TASKS : Ensure that work carried out : to the satisfaction of the customer and is of the highest quality in the industry.

Report all health and safety incidents to the appropriate authorities immediately.CustomersTake all steps practical to ensure that Wormald is held in the highest regard by our clients.

Actively promote the products and services of Wormald in the marketplace.Promote work outside of your department and immediately pass all enquires to the appropriate department.

Liaise and follow up with clients to ensure their satisfaction.Actively pursue new clients to increase Wormald’s client base.

Pass on any opportunities for the company that you many come across to your manager.AdministrationEstimate and action Variations to work as necessaryEnsure work carried out is invoiced promptly.

Liaise with the credit control department and coordinate and participate in whatever steps are required to be taken to reduce the outstanding debts to the lowest possible level.

Close jobs, take profit, close purchase orders and other administrative duties required to maintain a tidy ledger.Promptly advise management of any future shortcomings and the reasons why so that corrective action can be taken.

Monitor workload and dispatch resources to suit.Ensure all FPIS reports, as built plans, PS3, Manuals are completed in a timely mannerEnsure Producer Statements are issued for work completed in a timely manner.

Plant Monitor the control and use of company tools and equipment within the department. Ensure that company vehicles are kept in a safe, clean, and tidy condition.

Ensure that all staff has adequate tools and equipment to perform their jobs. Ensure all staff have and use Personal Protection Equipment, and that it is maintained in good condition.

General To obtain NZQA status for Fire Detection Level 4, and then apply for IQP status. Various duties that you will be called on from time to time that management believes will be beneficial to the department or the company as a whole.

MEASURE OF PERFORMANCE Lack of and handling of customer complaints. Financial results. Effectiveness and enthusiasm of staff.

Loyalty and enthusiasm toward the company. Quality of reporting to management. Stature of department within the industry.
