Would you like to live and work in the idyllic location of Whakatāne in the Eastern Bay of Plenty? Whakatāne is within one hours' drive of both Tauranga and Rotorua and is an area of outstanding natural beauty with beautiful beaches.
Whakatāne Hospital has recently undergone a shift review and is looking to recruit enthusiastic Medical Radiation Technologists to work in our friendly Radiology Department, which is a small but busy general hospital serving the widely dispersed Eastern Bay of Plenty area.
The positions would suit experienced MRTs, or final year students about to graduate. You will be required to participate in the out-of-hours roster.
You will also need to be prepared to work rostered duties which include weekend and public holiday dayshifts, evening and night shifts.
CT experience is not essential as training will be given.
The department has two general radiology rooms, a CT scanner and two Ultrasound rooms.
