About the business Ardmore Flying School has been training pilots since 1961 We are one of the largest pilot training schools in NZ and pride ourselves on the quality of our training and the work environment we offer and enjoy With 160 students and growing we train pilots for the international airline industry 75 of our students being international We currently receive 58 EFTS for domestic student funded training but 75 of our students come form a variety of countries worldwide We are located at Ardmore Airport and enjoy an environment that is exciting and varied especially for those with any aviation interest The operational office where this position is located is open and friendly and requires the candidate to be a team player there is essential interaction and communication needed across all roles with the operational team Birthday cakes celebrate staff birthdays and monthly staff meeting are provided with finger food and nonalcoholic drinks BBQs are held for special occasions or staff leaving functions About the role To ensure delivery of all potential or enrolling student administrative requirements To ensure all duties within this role are carried out professionally accurately and in a timely manner To reflect Ardmore Flying Schools culture and professionalism when interacting with potential students and other clients and customers To work closely with the Ardmore International Sales Director and CEO on developments changes or issues in student application and enrolment processes and report student enrolment data to the Ardmore International Sales Director and CEO on a regular basis Ensure potential client databases are updated and accurately reflect contact details and current status Liaise with the Ardmore International Sales Director and CEO for the organisation and attendance when necessary of school career expos and exhibitions Answer enrolment enquiries Phone calls Walkins and Emails and ensure maintenance of any database of this information Creating pricing quotes for student training agreements and preparing Letters of Offer for successful applicants Track enquiries against successful enrolments A successful enrolment is one where the student attends the first day of activity in their selected programme Identify any shortfall or inaccuracies in the marketing information and inform the Ardmore International Sales Director and CEO so that marketing materials are uptodate and available as required Supply reports as required by the Ardmore International Sales Director and CEO in a timely manner Ensure the Academic Manager and the ETA Administrator are supplied with accurate and up to date student enrolment information Benefits and perks This is a dynamic and ever changing business with significant growth planned in the coming year ahead There is a respectful and very friendly work environment where enjoying your work day is as important as achieving results We work with you to provide the most flexibility we can in leave planning and the company is very supportive should you need extra assistance due illness or other outside factors We offer a salary only so that you can chose what you wish to do with it Skills and experience Qualification in Administration or Business Management is required Experience in the management of a busy work environment requiring accuracy and attention to detail At least 4 years experience in customer service preferably as a department head or Manger at national and or international sales levelCustomer service focused committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels written phone and face to face Communication the ability to communicate clearly and concisely varying communication style depending upon the audience Attention to detail excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others both internally and externally Commerciality ability to apply knowledge in a practical commercial manner Teamwork willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members Time management organisation accomplish objectives effectively within time frame given and carry out administrative duties within portfolio in an efficient and timely manner Full drivers Licence
