We are fortunate to have a talented crew in our Consents team. In the past few months 3 of our team have been promoted to new roles within Council and its now time to recruit some new super star planners to join our team.
Opportunities exist at all levels of our Consents team on full time permanent and full time fixed term contracts so we are very open to expressions of interest from all levels of experience from Planners to Intermediate Planners to Project Planners and anything in between.
With a growing and diverse district at Waipā District Council we can offer you the opportunity to be involved in processing consents at all levels.
Once you are allocated a consent you will be responsible for project managing this through all steps including involvement with pre-application meetings to presenting at hearings to granting consents.
Ideally we are looking for planners with a relevant planning qualification with experience processing consents. Strong written and verbal communication plus a can do attitude are also a must.
Due to legislation governing our work, you will also require exceptional time management skills, cope well working under pressure and have exceptional attention to detail.
