    Our manned guarding division, Red Security, are leading the way, focusing on providing customer service focused security solutions for infrastructure, retail sites, facilities and clients.

    We are looking for an outstanding Operations Manager who is both operationally & people minded and who has the drive, motivation and capability to learn, develop and lead our growing Wellington Team.

    This role will be responsible for the planning, implementation and management of the day-to-day safety and staffing operations for key clients.

    Working right alongside our clients, the primary purpose of this role is to engage, grow and lead our professional teams across some of Wellingtons most iconic & high-profile sites.

    This role will be fully supported locally, as part of a great team, and we are seeking an individual who can demonstrate enthusiasm, drive and commitment that will inspire both the client and employees.

    Someone who is looking to grow with us and lead the delivery of exceptional team of security professionals is a must!

    Role Responsibility :

    In addition to the Operational Management of people, the responsibilities include :

  • Establish and maintain outstanding working relationships with all stakeholders, customers and clients, to enable the delivery of all services.
  • Provide leadership and direction to tight knit team of Operations Coordinators
  • Effectively manage the day-to-day operations of both clients, direct reports and employees.
  • Have a passion for mentoring and developing people through supportive leadership and relationship management.
  • Constructively challenge current thinking and practice, offering new ideas, alternatives or improvements to existing services and approaches.
  • Ensure that all venue policies and procedures are interpreted, communicated and fully implemented.
  • Effectively monitor, evaluate and manage the performance of your front-line staff.
  • The Ideal Candidate :

    Essential

  • A desire to develop your skillset and people management experience with Red Badge Group
  • Planning and organizational experience within a customer focused business.
  • Delivering service excellence within a client environment
  • A passion for developing engaged and results-oriented staff through effective leadership skills and positive workplace cultures
  • Excellent administrative skills and attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication / interpersonal skills.
  • People management skills and an ability to maintain discipline and performance standards.
  • Proven ability to adapt and to reprioritize at short notice
  • Full clean New Zealand driving license.
