About the role

Are you keen to work in our cross-functional Agile development team helping to build out our Data and APIs product suite and put it into the hands of international customers?

In the exciting ever evolving world of digital healthcare, the way patient electronic health record is shaped, managed and shared needs to meet new standards.

Our clinical data repositories, interoperable APIs and extraction tooling shall be enhanced to match emerging requests, keeping always in mind our existing customers.

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will :

  • be engaged with all aspects of development right from design, to delivery and support,
  • be fully involved with helping to steer best practices and approaches adopted by the team,
  • have the ability to think creatively and be confident in making suggestions,
  • develop solid and well-structured software will play a key role in the successful delivery of the solution, and
  • get the opportunity to participate in the way clinical information is modelled and shared in an open healthcare ecosystem, with the chance to be exposed directly to stakeholders
  • About You

  • Solid understanding of software architecture and software design with demonstrated ability to analyse, design, troubleshoot, and modify complex software products.
  • Inquisitive, detailed oriented and with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Great team player and communicator, comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Proactive and confident in working independently.
  • Proficiency in JAVA is a must.
  • Experience with databases such as Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server is an asset.
  • Experience working with cloud-based technology (eg. AWS).
  • Knowing how to work with Spark is an advantage.
  • Automated testing framework experience such as JUnit, or Arquillian is a bonus.
  • Be able to mentor and grow junior and intermediate developers.
