Senior Adviser Community Partnerships Vacancy Number : SDNO11917Closing Date : Wednesday the 16th of OctoberLocation : National Office, WellingtonRecruitment Contact : the Senior Adviser in the Community Partnerships team, you will be responsible for the development and provision of high quality advice and the delivery of a portfolio of reintegration initiatives, contracts and services.

The Senior Adviser Community Partnerships is the link between operational initiatives and the Department's overarching strategies.

The position works closely with preferred service providers and customers in various settings so that contracts are effectively managed and services provided meets the Department's expectations.

In particular, you will have portfolio responsibility for the service design, contracting, implementation and ongoing support for two new residential reintegration initiatives intended for high risk people in the community.

As you will be providing support to the team in regard to our service provider contracts, you will present with a strong background in contract and relationship management at a senior level, coupled with an understanding and working knowledge of the justice and social sectors.

You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate messages effectively as well as produce high quality written reports.

You will be an ideas person and not afraid to back your ideas around senior managers.We wish to appoint an energised and engaged person who is capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
