We are currently seeking a Customer Service Agent to join our CxC Helpdesk team based out of our Penrose office.

We are currently seeking a Customer Service Agent to join our CxC Helpdesk team based out of our Penrose office.

Our standard hours of operation are Monday to Friday 6.30am am to 9.00pm, Saturday and Sunday 7 : 30am to 5 : 30pm

NB : Some flexibility around these hours required. You will be needed for 40 hours within this time based on a rostered basis which can change regularly.

Full training will be provided.

Tasks & Responsibilities

You are required to deliver the following : -

  • Respond professionally, timely and effectively to incoming phone calls and emails
  • Accurately record details of the caller, the fault and severity of the fault
  • Ascertain the nature of the client requests and deliver on these requests in the appropriate manner
  • Always follow reported problems through to a successful outcome while keeping the client and all key stakeholders updated
  • Communicate clearly with the client and key stakeholders
  • Apply logic and common sense to requests for assistance, ensuring that identified circumstances are escalated in accordance with procedures
  • Achieve a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Work within and adhere to, processes and procedures of the CXC and assist in their development
  • Experience Needed :

  • Ability to plan and manage role responsibilities and achieve individual work objectives
  • Demonstrated ability to follow through the whole process of work from start to finish
  • Sound level of competency in the use of Microsoft applications, accurate data entry and keyboard skills
  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills
  • Self-motivated, passionate, highly efficient, proactive and professional
  • Demonstrate and practice Integrity and honesty
  • Good team player
  • Experience working in a customer service role is an added advantage
